In case you are Brazilian, you must be thinking I’m crazy.
In some regions of Brazil, “UAI” sounds like a gentle form of “WTF”.
That’s not what I mean.
UAI stands for Useful Artificial Intelligence. Useful to me, at least.
Instead of labeling AI to every piece of artificial intelligence I see around — and there are many now — I’m going to make separate categories for general AI that is nice for me to know it exists and the other AI, useful AI I can be using in my projects and products.
In that sense, UAI can be also interpreted as “Usable” AI, meaning it is not rocket science for the general population to use and incorporate into products or services.
The typical AI “wrapper” that makes it easy for us to execute XYZ task is an UAI.
So starting right now with this post, there will be UAI.
