I have stumbled upon this No CSS Club website today and then found this very well crafted minisite by Thricegreat.
So I decided to join the club, literally speaking.
It’s at /minisite
Some personal touches I gave to it:
- My avatar pic and name to mach the WP website
- I decided to not break lines or text wrappings of any sort. I found this worked better on smaller screens. Users are free to detach the window and resize it to adjust text according to their personal preferences.
- Added “/” to indicate an intro text that I usually add to bring context to the post.
- Using dates in the ISO 8601 format.
- Added “img” option that links to an image file used in the post.
- Using “source” with a link to the external content that inspired me to write my post.
Syncthing syncs the folder with my local server, which then runs lftp via a cron job from time to time to update my hosted web server.
