I like Charles Bukowski. I like his books and writing style.

He writes mostly using short sentences.

I try to imitate that style here in this website.

I just try, because it’s hard.

Ideally speaking, sentences should only break one line before it stops.

Breaking two lines is like taking two street corners around the same block. It’s too much twisting and turning.

I read somewhere that we should apply the same style to computer code. “Short sentences of well written prose”. But that’s another story.

The secret is in the line.
