I didn’t not finish LOTR. Maybe because I’ve seen the movie so many times that the reading felt repetitive. I also felt that Tolkien takes fantasy to a higher level in his writings. I wasn’t expecting that much, so the story ended up too tiring for me.
Instead of reading Foundation’s first book (same name, Foundation), I decided to read one of its prequels, “Prelude to Foundation”, which I found really good. Weeks later I found out by accident that I should not have done it this way. The reading sequence is not correct. I should have read the entire Foundation trilogy first and then its prequels and sequels.
